It's a ghost town here. My office is very empty except for mainly a few straggling new hires who don't want to burn their limited vacation time to take today off.

While a lot of folks have big plans for the holiday weekend, I'm feeling a bit blah about it. I have been invited to a party on Sunday, but to be honest I'm really not in the mood.

Tell me something fun, something happy. Ask me a question, the more bizarre and odd the better.

Hmmmm...a few spring to my (blonde) mind...

Ask me a question...
a) When was the last time you found a rogue eyebrow hair? (at least double the length of the others)
b) Murder, Marry, Shag: Wesley Crusher (Star Trek TNG), Betty White, Chris Griffin (Family Guy)
c)If you could had a time machine, where and when would you go?

Tell me something...
You're hot...well it made me happy anyways lol

You're very hot as well. And your fans still await your video :)

a) I actually dealt with the rogue eyebrows last weekend. Mine tend to lay down, but every so often I'll see one spring up and make me look a bit like Jack Nicholson. I ran my beard trimmer at a low setting over the brows to hack off the stragglers.

b) Murder Wesley (he's annoying), Marry Betty (she's old and rich and it's good for older ladies to have a younger gay boy toy), and Shag Chris Griffin (per the show, he's packin', though not a size queen here).

c) If I had a time machine, I would love to jump around and observe some of the great mysteries of history: Did Lizzie Borden do the hatchet job on her parents? Whatever happened to Amelia Earhart? What did happen to the lost colony of Roanoke?

However, I likely would love to spend time just hanging out in the mid 1970's for some reason. I was alive at the time, but too young (early single digit ages) to do anything fun.

Don't worry the video is being done tomorrow morning ;)

I'm too afraid to use my trimmer on my eyebrows...we have two and I daren't play with the settings just in case I shave one off! You passed test b...right answers! Although it's interesting you think Chris Griffin is "packing"?!! Lol

I'm with you on the 70's - I was single digits in the 70's so SHOTGUN! I'd be your wingman any day :)

Justin Bieber and Mylie Cyrus are both strapped to chairs in a Hostel (the movie) type room with all the fun tools and instruments of torture.
Who would you kill/torture first and how?
Details please.
: )

Well, I would probably go after Bieber first only because I find him more annoying. I'd say castrate him, but I think that's already been done.

Perhaps the easiest and more vile would be to attach (glue, graft, etc.) headphones to both, each playing the other's music at blaring levels. Explain to them that the music only ends when the other dies, hand them the tools of torture, and watch it unfold from a safe location.... while eating popcorn.

Okay, I am game!

Whatever happened to those two hot gay guys from Texas, introduced in the dIfficult to find Leonard And Larry book, "Excerpts From The Ring Cycle In The Royal Albert Hall," who were housesitting for Merle and Jim? I wonder why Tim Barela didn't create a spin-off with those two? I personally thought that the one with the balding head and the full beard, was one of his best characters! Oh whatever happened to my copy? When will it be reissued? What were their names? When will Tim bring back "Leonard
And Larry? I really miss that comic! ;-)

How embarrassing that I can't remember the names of that couple, as I agree that they were adorable. I'll have to re-read that one.

As for what happened to your copy, I suspect it's still in your place somewhere. Check unopened boxes.

When will it be re-issued? I actually asked that question to the guy on their website and he kept saying that they're waiting to see when they can reprint. That was years ago and the books have been reduced in price, so I suspect they never will.

Any sources I have basically say that Tim has retired the strip because there hasn't been another magazine to pick it up. I think I also heard that Tim had some issues with carpal tunnel too.

... and I really miss it as well.

Funny, I still have all the L&L books somewhere. I haven't opened them in years.

I know where three of mine are. The only one which I have been unable to find is "Excerpts from the Ring Cycle In Royal Albert Hall," I haven't seen that one in probably 4 years. I may have loaned it out to someone, or it may have been stolen, unfortunately. For me, the highlight of it, was the story concerning Jeff and his partner. The other three are placed in chronological order on a shelf on a bookcase, in my great room! ;-)

If I remember correctly, the interior of their house resembled "Architectural Digest." I find that quite ironic, since I have subscribed to "A.D." since 1992. My subscription expires in 2013. I am thinking of extending my subscription until 2017, though. I used to have subscriptions to "Saveur," 'Food & Wine," "Gourmet" and "Bon Appetit." ;-)

1. How long would it take for a spider to spin a web around the world?
2. if you were to find grey hair on your person, would you (a) pluck, (b) dye or (c) love it?
3. Oddest date you've ever had.
4. Religion: ______. (fill in the blank)
5. What's your ringtone?

8. Do you have any quirks that you'd rather not have?
9. If you could be anybody in the world (in real life), historical times to contemporary times, who would you be?
10. Your dream vacation? (No staycations!)
11. What's the craziest, most unlikely thing you've done?
12. Yes. (What's the question this is an answer to?)
13. Show us what you're wearing for underwear today!

1. Depends, what kind of spider are we talking about?

2. There is no "if" anymore, they've arrived. Too many to pluck, I've gone the acceptance route. Some look kind of cool against their darker neighbors on some places (though they've not traveled any farther south than the chest).

3. Wow, that would have to be between a) the sissy bear that met me for lunch to tell me that his roommate had passed out from pneumonia at work and was in the hospital, but instead of being there with him, he was there with me, and b) the recovering Christian-suicidal guy who kept flashing his chest hair at me and thanked me for still being at the table after he left to go to the bathroom.

4. Religion: No (Spiritual: Yes)

5. On my iPhone, it's called "Strum."

6. I don't have iTunes with me, but probably my "running" songs have been getting the most airplay, which is mostly Lady Gaga, I'm embarrassed to admit.

7. Upset = stealing from me; Laugh = doing something funny in a serious situation (like a meeting or church)

8. I do this nervous thing with my hands, rubbing them together frantically, when I get excited. I've done it since I was a kid and still catch myself doing it on occasion as an adult. It can be embarrassing.

9. Steve Jobs

10. I would LOVE to go to Ireland again (no work involved)

11. I snuck into the city pool in the middle of the night by myself when I was a teenager and went skinny-dipping for an hour (yeah, I'm a wild man, huh?)

12. Is the perfect guy out there for me?

13. Underwear, who says I'm wearing underwear?

Ok... a bizarre question which will kinda really interest me.

What laundry detergent do you use? Are you happy with it?
Do you separate colours and whites? How do you wash them?
Do you use the tumble dryer?
Do you iron?

(I know... I need help)

Date: 2010-09-03 06:18 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kybearfuzz.livejournal.com
LOL... fair enough :)

I use Cheer Bright Clean, Fresh Scent, and I'm happy with it. I like the way it smells and so far nothing in it makes me break out.

I typically don't separate whites and colors, but I am mindful of which colors I will wash together. For example, reds do not go with lighter colors, they go with darker ones. All of them usually done with cold water wash/rinse. Occasionally, I'll run the whites separately in hot, if the tags recommend it.

The tumble dryer is my friend! I usually put everything on medium heat, unless it's towels and bedsheets.

I iron the wrinkled shirts and pants on occasion, but most of the time I can manage by just hanging them up right out of the dryer.

Have you ever had a 3-way (or I guess more-way)? If so, did you find you focused more attention on one individual than the other(s)? If it was a 3-way, were they partners? And is it on video for purchase? (hehe...for some reason after reading your answers about laundry, i felt...dirty.)

Date: 2010-09-03 09:56 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kybearfuzz.livejournal.com
LOL... you felt dirty after talking about laundry?

And to answer the question, the only three-way (or more way) I've ever had was a Skyline Three-Way (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=three-way+chili).

Not that I haven't been tempted to have the other kind, but...

I considered hopping in the car tomorrow and making a road trip for the holiday weekend, but then thought ... Why would I want to get in the middle of all of that traffic. Something funny? I've been in my new job three days and I was ridiculously happy to have a three day weekend! LOL!

HUGS!
