Happy Thanksgiving!

Had a good day. Got up early to help my sis cook dinner for the family and stopped by my mom's for breakfast. I found that my mom had been up late the night before making a "Dolly Parton" cake for her new beau. Mom is a grandmother and a great-grandmother. This cake is not what you'd expect. It is the torso of a naked woman, with fully exposed breasts with nipples and a bikini bottom with writing saying "Happy Birthday Dear." If her church group saw this cake, there would be an immediate revival and full baptisms for everyone who had seen it. I was in shock and laughed my head off. I wish I had taken my camera home. Mom's getting a bit tarty in her old age ;)

Dinner went well and everything was good. I hated to leave, but I had to drive back because I have to go to work tomorrow. A puzzling thing was waiting for me. I got in and found seven messages from the County Jail on my machine! They were collect calls from someone named Danielle, who kept calling me "honey." I have no clue about this one. My outgoing message says, "This is Mark..." She's got the wrong number obviously and I feel sorry for her, the first call was two days ago.

It's strange, but it's having positive effects on her. Even her overall health has improved. My dad passed away about 4 1/2 years ago, so the mourning period is long over. I personally never thought she'd date ever again, but she's pleasantly surprised me and my siblings.
