According to my notes, I started writing this issue back in mid-July. I finished the lettering on the last page last Friday night. I admit that I've had a lot of fun with this issue, even spent a little extra time on some backgrounds, got a bit lazy on others. As some pages got done, I've shared a bit of it here and there without going into great detail on the plot.
So I hope you enjoy this issue, which includes a villain based on the very handsome (

Behind the cut below is 25 full-color comic pages, so it may take time to load them (it's about 15 MB of imagery). It's all work-safe.

For those of you new to my journal, you can hit the "Finished Comic" tag below to pull up the first five issues of "Grizzly & The Bear Patrol." If you have any questions or comments, let me know. I enjoy the feedback!

Loved it. I wish this could actually be published.

Date: 2011-10-03 03:08 pm (UTC)Polar Bear originally had a much more.. um... open costume with long white Viking type hair. I figured that since he controlled the cold, he probably wasn't much bothered by it, but it was cumbersome to draw so I switched it to the current model. I posted a pic of it sometime back, but I'll have to dig it up.
And I did look into the publishing idea once and it really can be an expensive endeavor. Someday maybe :)
