Grizzly & The Bear Patrol #5 - Night of the Living Funk

I spent a lot of evenings last week and many hours this weekend between Cincy-NKY Pride events finishing up this comic book issue. I started writing this issue mid-March 2011 and I remember being very excited imagining the pages. Once I started drawing it, it took a lot more time, but I got a lot done a lot faster toward the end.

One that struck me so strange is that I was imagining the NEXT issue breakdowns while I was working on this one. Not sure what that means, other than I'll likely be doing a sixth issue. Below is the revised cover, I worked on the shading some more, and the finished issue. Be warned it may take a while to load. There are 24 large, full-color pages behind the cut, including a bonus poster of the original cartoon I did for mikiedoggie to cheer him up a few years back when he was in a funk. It's the basis for the whole story. It's all work safe and I hope you enjoy it!

That's why I never read any papers that I publish, once they've been printed.

Well, I often find mistakes after the fact once I post it. I view posting the entry as "publishing" it, because I know a few folks have downloaded the images in some cases, so I'd rather not change it after that. I just have to live with the errors and try to proof better next time.

There is one issue I think I left off a page number even. So that I meticulously review now. :D

Lol. Well the MD comment is a little nod to my buddy John who played the victim here. And as for the "to do" list... well, always good to keep it simple.
