I spent a lot of evenings last week and many hours this weekend between Cincy-NKY Pride events finishing up this comic book issue. I started writing this issue mid-March 2011 and I remember being very excited imagining the pages. Once I started drawing it, it took a lot more time, but I got a lot done a lot faster toward the end.
One that struck me so strange is that I was imagining the NEXT issue breakdowns while I was working on this one. Not sure what that means, other than I'll likely be doing a sixth issue. Below is the revised cover, I worked on the shading some more, and the finished issue. Be warned it may take a while to load. There are 24 large, full-color pages behind the cut, including a bonus poster of the original cartoon I did for
mikiedoggie to cheer him up a few years back when he was in a funk. It's the basis for the whole story. It's all work safe and I hope you enjoy it!

Funky!
I can see why this one took a while. Great work, as usual.

OK, I've been reviewing journal articles, and I'm still in editor mode:
Page 9, it's should be its. The "it's" isn't the possessive. :-)
I can't help myself. ;-)

Date: 2011-07-12 09:35 am (UTC)As for the editing, I never mind it. I read through it twice and thought I'd caught all the mistakes. Sigh... Oh well, it'll just be one of those errors that readers catch now :D
