My Answers
- The Great Gilly Hopkins by Katherine Paterson. I remember this book from 7th grade and thought it was hilarious, wickedly funny and catty. The book jacket was one of the best attractants, a drawing of a girl blowing a huge bubble on the front and that same girl with a burst bubble gum splat on her face on the back. I should buy this one.
- I go to Bear411 (NWS!) and Livejournal daily. I also enjoy looking through Wikipedia for random stuff of interest.
- Though we usually played kickball (part baseball/part soccer/part dodgeball) in the yard, I was always a bigger fan of tag.
- Here are my three...
- Dead Like Me -- I've posted about this show a lot lately, love it.
- Remember WENN -- a period comedy about life in a 1940's radio station, back when they had serials and musical shows broadcast by studio actors.
- Cupid -- Jeremy Piven as the god of love (sigh)
- Dead Like Me -- I've posted about this show a lot lately, love it.
- Though I am often at work early in the morning, I am actually more prone to staying up late. I force myself to go to bed at night out of necessity. When I'm drawing or working on something, I generally do better work in the late evening/early morning hours.

Date: 2006-09-01 02:42 pm (UTC)2: There are a SHITLOAD of online newspaper editorial pages I visit almost every day. And of course I spend an inordinate amount of time at LiveJournal. And I never miss the Astronomy Photo of the Day (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html).
3: There's a card game called Casino that my family used to enjoy together when I was a child. There was a board game called Careers that I was rather fond of. Kickball was a neighborhood favorite in the court our family lived next to, circa 1965-1974.
4: "My So-Called Life," "Cybil," "Frasier."
5: I'm an early-bird for the most part. Definitely NOT a night-owl anymore, as often happens as one gets up in years. I prefer more leisurely mornings drinking coffee and reading the newspaper, rather than rushing around getting ready for work. So I have my clock-radio set for 5:00am, will often drift in and out of sleep listening to the BBC newshour, then I'm usually up and out of bed by 6:00am.
