Daily Dose of Irony -- Gym Parking

kybearfuzzAfter being a member of Gold's Gym for the last four years, I have noticed something ironic about members parking in the gym parking lot. Today, I saw a couple of guys in the car drive around the parking lot to park in a space that was three spaces closer than the one they had passed on the first go around.
I find it funny that someone is not willing to walk an extra 20 feet to the gym where he or she will run on a treadmill for a half-hour.
... and today's guys aren't the first I've seen do this....

Date: 2006-03-01 09:05 pm (UTC)I used to have a friend that we joked about pulling into the bar, picking the first guy he saw and “taking” him. He was never there more than five minutes. My little comment about doing the same with a parking spot reminded me of that… but, would have been much funnier had you actually known what the hell I was laughing at.
