Batman ... in the Beginning...

kybearfuzzAfter being in a foul mood today, I decided that I needed to do something for me to lighten my spirits. I came straight home from work and took a lengthy nap so I could make the late night showing of Batman Begins.
Batman Begins
Overall, I was very impressed with the movie. It was full of action from start to finish and I think Christian Bale did a great job in the title role. I had my doubts when I heard he'd been cast. Katie Holmes was okay, but I loved seeing Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman in the film, and Gary Oldman looks just what a young Commissioner Gordon would look like, down to the big glasses. Even the audience was relatively quiet, so I could concentrate on enjoying the movie without interruptions I've come to almost expect.
It's now after 1 AM... I'm going to pay dearly for this tomorrow morning...
