Sunday Night at the Movies

After finally getting home and cleaning the house a bit, I decided to hit the movies. I've been wanting to watch Darkness for a week, but it wasn't playing in my hometown. So I rushed out to see it tonight.
I only had to shush a talking couple once and the gaggle of teenage girls with glowing cellphones only got up and left one time. Anna Paquin does a good job, but the movie overall left me a bit confused. They really didn't explain the plot very well, the end result left me a bit wanting. I think they should have spent a bit more time on plot development.
Well, I'm off tomorrow, thankfully. Sleeping in is the plan.

Date: 2005-01-03 03:06 pm (UTC)Hello, my name is Eddie and I talk in movies.
I cant help it. I just like it. I want to say my thoughts. I try to be quiet and discreet..I promise I really do. I was only shushed once..that was in "Wag the Dog" and I was genuinly being loud because my friend Kelli whispered something very funny in my ear. I apologize to the movie Gods for the Wag the Dog experience.

Date: 2005-01-03 04:45 pm (UTC)However, I also checked out "The Aviator." I didn't go in expecting anything, but it was actually a very good movie to my surprise. I so don't like Leonardo DiCaprio but he did a great job...and Cate Blanchett did an awesome job playing Katharine Hepburn as well.
And the other "Meet the Fockers" was just plain funny...not as good as the first but still funny!!
It looks like all I did this weekend was watch movies....well after a few hard nights of partying...there wasn't much else I could handle...lol
