Monday, Monday -- working at home

I got to work at home today, as my heat pump has been leaking and the repairman was coming. I'm taking a break from the report writing and thought I would post.

The A/C guy, Brad, is a hot, blond daddy bear. With a nice gruff voice, graying beard, and furry arms, this blue-collar god walked into my house and I was breathless.... again. See, this isn't his first visit to my house, he worked on my A/C last year. Naturally, when it started leaking I thought of him. He's good eye candy, especially when he's laying flat on my floor checking out the heat pump.

He's a super nice guy, a bit pricey, but I can live with that. For those who wish to know what he looks like, I asked if I could take his picture. I didn't tell him exactly why, but he's a good guy and went along.

I surprised myself being bold enough to take it. Seeing how I just paid him $120 for an hour's work, I figured all he could say is no. I just told him I liked taking pictures of interesting people.

It is a good photo, isn't it? The light came through my living room window just right at the time. Not that I had planned that, I just pointed the digital camera and hit the button. Don't you just love lucky breaks....

And he is a beautiful bear. He's 45 and has that burly bear look that drives me crazy. When he came here the first time, I was stunned. And to see him on the floor looking under my heat pump, I really wanted a pic of that.. but I'll take what I can get. ;)

If I had a nickel for every time I've thought of using that "I like taking pictures of interesting people" line with a straight guy! I've never been comfortable enough with one to do it yet, so for now I'll have to continue snapping shots without their knowledge!

I tried many times to take his picture unnoticed, but it was too tricky at times... so I thought I would try the direct approach. He didn't have to know it was for lustful purposes... He's probably much happier not knowing. So, I view it as win-win!
