I got up exceptionally early today. Not too hard, considering 6 AM here is 9 AM for me, so I was wide awake. I got showered and dressed and headed to the bus stop. After a quick breakfast at a local chain, I hopped on the bus headed for Stanley Park.

Stanley Park is beautiful, there are walking trails, a zoo, an aquarium, and a foot path that runs the 8 km perimeter. I got there at 9 AM, left at 2:30, walked the ENTIRE perimeter and several paths within. My feet are killing me, but I got some amazing shots of the area, a few bear shots, and even got to see actor Marc Singer jogging around the place (he still is pretty fit for his age). I wish I could have gotten his picture. The weather was and still is amazing, a great day to take photos.

After the Park, I was exhausted, got on the bus and headed back. I had to transferred buses and ended up on Davie St, the local Vancouver gayborhood. Naturally I had to walk around a bit and see what it had to offer. Lots of rainbow flags, a few novelty shops, a few bars. I had to stop and grab a late lunch at Hamburger Mary's and see the eye candy walk by. It was fun.

Finally got back to the bus and rode it back to the internet cafe to check the mail. I dread the walk back to the hotel, my feet are sore. I may blow the two bucks (that's $1.50 US) to ride the bus seven more stops.

Oh yeah, I went to see The Terminal last night. Tom Hanks is good, Stanley Tucci is better though. The movie was okay, not a hilarious film, but it was cute for the most part and made me laugh in some places, mostly because I recognize the government red tape more than most.
