Hey guys and gals,

In preparation for my trip I didn't want to get a stack of CD's and my CD player to add bulk to the trip. What are your thoughts on the iPod? The mini ones are expensive, but they have a 1,000 song capacity and would be easier to travel with.

Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. I'm likely to go purchase it today.

My thoughts

Well, you don't know me, but I randomly ran across your entry while surfing LJ and thought I'd comment.

I have an iPod, and it's the best thing I ever got (musically, that is). Mine isn't a mini; it's actually a 10 gig (one of the older models). I currently have about 1300 songs on it, and still more room to fill. Plus, I have an iTrip, which is basically this little devide that plugs into the headphone jack of the iPod and broadcasts it through your car radio. You just set it to a random station that isn't being used and listen away! Ever since my dad got me the iPod, I haven't even worried about having CDs/tapes/radio in the car. Most all of my driving music is done on the iPod. I've got playlists of random songs set up, and there's always the regular album/artist playlists.

I'd say, definitely go for it. They're awesome little things, and much handier than CDs. Hope that helped!

Rebecca

Well, thanks for surfing by and your input. I think that it will be a handy thing to have, especially at the gym on a treadmill. I'm leaning more and more towards it, I think.
