kybearfuzz: (Bitter Bitchie)

I admit that this weekend, I didn't do much. I wasn't interested in watching any of the Olympics and it seems that the movie distributors didn't release anything worth watching. In retrospect, it would have been a perfect weekend to drive to my hometown to visit, but naturally I didn't think of that until Sunday.

Netflix sent me a Roger Corman double-header of "The Masque of the Red Death" and "Premature Burial" on the same DVD, so that kept me occupied. Neither movie is particularly great, but they did well for passing the time. The first starred Vincent Price and the second starred Ray Milland, but both movies starred a British actress named Hazel Court and her considerable cleavage.

Last night, while waiting for the mid-season premiere of "The Walking Dead," I drew my annual anti-Valentine starring my goth-spinster alter-ego Bitchie Ann McSourpuss. She definitely prefers the bitter to the sweet.

The Anti-Valentine 2014

I love this. I think she ought to have a cameo in the next comic!

LOL! I thought about that. You never know when and/or if she'll show up.

She reminds me of Toot Braunstein from "Drawn Together". LOL

I took myself to the movies Sunday and loved "The Monuments Men". True story, a great group of actors, a lovely score ... really just relaxed and enjoyed myself ... I recommend it if the story appeals to you at all ...

Actually, a friend asked if I wanted to see it tomorrow night. I think I'll go.
