Friday Odds and Ends

No FYFF today. I got lazy. And I was tired from helping move files to storage at work yesterday. And I have papercuts all over my hands. Hand sanitizer is torturous.
Not much else to report really. While I often enjoy the cooler temperatures this time of year, they make me unbelievably sleepy, especially with the overcast weather. I recognize this every year and try not to cave to temptation of taking naps, but I falter each time.
My neighbor stopped by last night to ask if I would let his dogs out while he and his missus takes a train trip on Saturday. He kept discussing the two little dogs (they're Yorkies), but not the older and larger dog. After I asked about him, the neighbor said that his wife was taking him to the vet this morning for the last time. I felt bad for him, because I know it's a really hard decision from experience, and he started tearing up and then looked away. Honestly, from what he described to me before about the dog's loss of senses, chronic arthritis, and such, it sounds like the right thing to do.
So Saturday, I'm letting the little ones out of their cage to "do their business" a couple of times. I have this image of me chasing the two little yippers all over the yard as they barely know me.
At least it'll make for a humorous entry.
Happy Friday all y'all.
