Drawing Fails & Horror Movie Blah

After I took a nap yesterday, I was feeling blah and out of place. I thought about going to the 701 bar for a beer to see if any of the guys were out and about, but I couldn't muster up the energy.

So after fixing a quick dinner, I plopped myself down on the couch to watch my latest Netflix arrival, "Shadow People," a horror movie about shadowy figures that cause "sudden unexpected nocturnal death syndrome." It included video from various news casts, interviews, etc. from the "real" people who lived it as the movie was supposedly based on a true story. It was pretty dull actually.

I tried drawing some of the upcoming Grizzly issue, but fumbled through one page and I hate the way it looks, so I'll be redoing that one later.

I'm feeling the urge to do something, like I'm antsy but not sure what I want. I'm sure something will turn up.

Well... How about thinking of something normally don't do, and spontaneously do it, ie, eat dinner someplace new, call up a friend you don't talk to frequently, go someplace you've never been, draw something completely different...

Or you could just go home, take a bubble bath and post the pictures for us....

If you're in a drawing mood, you might prowl the internet and find a subject to draw...I do that sometimes; it's sorta fun!

I've had an off week without much energy or focus. Maybe its the reality that Summer is ending and I'm about to crash into Fall.
