My Extended Weekend

kybearfuzzWell, I was planning on going home for the weekend, but my brother was out of town, so I decided to postpone the trip. I took most of Friday and Monday off and did very little outside of going to the gym, grocery store, etc. I spent most of yesterday working on a powerpoint presentation for "bring your kid to work" day.
I went to my orthodontist yesterday and she says the braces are coming off in six weeks! I've had these things on the upper teeth since March 2003. They're porcelain instead of stainless steel so they are not as visible. I'm SO READY to get them off, I'm tired of my scratched up gums and the tension headaches every time I go to have them tightened. I'll post before and after pics of them when I get them off.
I found out yesterday that I'll be going overseas this year after all. I thought my yearly three-week foreign trip for work was going to be just Canada, but my trip planner couldn't get me a third Canadian firm, so my last week will be in Germany! I just don't know the cities yet, but I'm getting excited.
In a nutshell (or since I'm at work, a "nuthouse"), that's been the highlights. I still haven't seen Kill Bill Vol 2, but I'll definitely hit it this weekend.
