Yesterday, the weather was flip-flopping like a desperate politician. It would be cloudy, then sprinkle the rain, then sunny, then cloudy again. It makes for a moody day.

I got home and managed to change into my running gear, went to the local park, and started my usual run. The wind started blowing a bit harder, the sprinkling rain started falling, but it wasn't anything that I'd not huffed through before. For some reason, my energy level just tanked a little over halfway through my run. Of the ten laps I usually do, I made it through five and was pushing through the sixth when I just stopped.

The weather has a large effect on mood I hear and I wonder if that was a large part of it. I walked the rest of the lap, got in my car and went home.

After a shower and dinner, I watched Apartment 143 on Netflix. Not a bad little horror flick about a family getting outside help from paranormal investigators when their home is haunted. Michael O'Keefe is the only star I recognize. A couple of scenes made me jump a bit which was good.

After the disappointing run, it felt good to go to bed a little early.

Physical activity, i.e. exercise, is always relative ....you probably got through at least five more laps than I would have made it through (running and I are not a match made in heaven). I find some days at the gym are surprisingly good...some not so much. But one survives.
Weather does have an effect on us, barometric pressure too I'm told. Cloudy, rainy, overcast makes me just want to curl up in a comfortable little ball.

Cloudy and rainy always makes me want to do the same. I envy the cats when I see them all wrapped up in themselves asleep.
