Boring Tuesday

kybearfuzzI actually took the last couple of days off from work. No particular reason, I have a lot of leave built up and the time shift made me extra sleepy in the morning. I mowed the yard yesterday and patched up some of the dead spots in the lawn.
Today, I went to see The Ladykillers. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Tom Hanks' character is overly verbose and comes across as being pompous and annoying, which may be the point of the character. I also think the movie centered too much on the robbery aspects instead of the murder attempts on the old boarding house lady, which was supposed to be the main source of the dark comedy. No spoilers for those who haven't seen it. It was an okay film.
Now I'm home and bored senseless. I was tempted to sneak into another film and watch it, but decided against it.
