Softballs and Suitable for Work

Softball was a lot of fun last night. We played a double header and won both games a single run. My hits were lackluster, but I can live with that. The second game was against a team that has beaten us before and they have these annoying cheers, so winning against them made me smile. I'm thankful they've stopped ringing the cowbells and blasting those airhorns. Best of all, no bruises or anything since...
... my interview for a new position at work is at 2 PM today. I chose the brown suit to wear because I thought it was the least intimidating of all of the new ones and I have a great new light orange shirt that goes well with it. The ladies at the office have already favorably commented on my good color combination. I could have worn the olive green suit that makes my @$$ look great, but I suspect my rear will not be a point of consideration today.
I was told by someone today that one of the other interviewees has already put forth a good impression. I hated hearing that as it's almost a psych out of sorts. I prefer to imagine my competition as drooling idiots so the pressure isn't on me. I'm not nervous, I will get the job or I won't. Either way, I'm no worse off than I am at this moment.
Thank heavens I have enough work to keep me swamped so I don't stare at the clock.
Happy Hump Day! :)

I'll be proud of you for pursuing this opportunity, regardless of the outcome!
HUGS!

With service and dedication like that, how could they NOT give you the job?? What a burden it must be to be so decorative AND functional?
