On Tuesday, we won both softball games. It felt good to win and we played hard. Except for freezing in the break between games, it was a great night, though finishing up at 11:30 PM wasn't so fun. I need to try to buy a team-colored snuggie for the next game if that break happens again. The next morning was full of groans as my body's muscles had relaxed and tightened up in places you long forget have muscles.

Because yesterday was sunny and warm here, I traded off my usual bicep workout for a cardio one. I ran 3.5 miles then came home and mowed the yard before the rainstorm hit. With my lack of sleep time the night before, I crashed early.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed at 5 AM to get my bicep workout in. I'm going to an after-work farewell "happy hour" for a coworker and I knew I'd likely skip the workout by the time I will get home. Lifting weights at 5 AM is just not for me. Not being a true morning person, I lack the enthusiam needed to keep good form and good cheer. I managed to get through the majority of it before having to shower and dress for work.

Oh the weekend will be soooooo nice when it gets here.

I thought it was strange too, but it seems like there is a league night every night during the week. The gays just have it Tuesday.

Congrats on the softball wins. It is physically impossible for me to get up early to exercise (I love my sleep). I'm lucky I get up in time to shower, get dress and get to work on time. I like working out after work because it helps me de-stress from the day. Although on the weekends I'll work out in the morning, morning being around 9 am.

Morning workouts are rough that early in the morning, but like you, I can do a 9 AM workout. I'm usually up during the work week at 5 AM or so, which makes 9 AM late morning for me. I'm much more awake by then.

Thanks! My major point of soreness was actually in the groin area from overextending my leg running to third and trying to keep on base without flying over it. I'm talented. What can I say... :)
