What to Write About?

Other than some cartooning, I've been kinda wiped out this week. After work I've come home, attempted to work out (sometimes succeeded), but mostly I've been tired. I blame the aftermath of the Strep Throat, but I'm finally getting my gumption back.

I'm a bit at a loss for anything to write about. The week isn't bad here, but it's not particularly exciting. Lots of friends are out of town or going out of town.

Any questions you want to toss my way?

NYE's plans are to go to a small party at the house of my former flat mate from my div school days, Steven, and his wife, the fabulous Carlene. (And yes, she is probably the most fabulous person in the universe, and we can all either be jealous or learn from her example.)

I will probably be the only gay man there, though the fabulous Carlene works mostly with lesbians, so the house will be chock-a-block with dykes. But since I'll be the only gay man there, I probably won't get a kiss, or anything else.

What about you, handsome? What are you doing, and with whom are you doing it?

LOL... it's getting colder. It's in the 40's today.

Being the gay in the village party sounds like it could be fun, though the kiss might be a bit less than you want.

I'm heading to a party thrown by a softball buddy and his hubby. It's the annual bash they throw and it's fun.

So far......Harry and I are doing our Christmas on Friday night, then we're off with friends to someplace (as yet undecided) for cocktails, then over to a friend's house to hang out with a bunch of friends, drink champs and nosh.
Sunday we're getting together with two other couples for a laid-back dinner. Harry has Monday off, so I'm taking the day off as well (it's a university holiday anyways) and we're making roast pork and sauerkraut.

So, yeah a little busy. ;-)

I'm heading up to Dallas for part of the weekend. Probably heading back Sunday morning. Going to be spending time with some friends I haven't seen in a few months.

Probably no kiss though. But it is kinda hard to top having my first ever kiss at midnight new years day 2003. Even though I was kindly told that I needed some work. In my defense though they said the second kiss 10 minutes later was much improved. :-)

The Four Queens onboard are planning an extravaganza. There will be dinner and they may dance. I hope to kiss them all but I don't know if that will happen.

A coworker and I were talking about NYE and the hype that comes with it. I've been asleep many a NYE before midnight, only to have my sister call me, drunk off her @$$, slurring into the phone... "Haaaaaaaaaapppy Newww Yerrrr!"

ugh... thankfully nobody thinks to bother me with phone calls but I usually get quite a few texts. I try to turn the text sound off before bed every night, and definitely will NYE!

I get to work mid-day shifts both Saturday and Sunday, so I'm not planning anything. No kisses either- unless you want to come over and wake me up?

For NYE, I'll be heading to my NSLP's house for his annual get together. I hope to get kissed, but that's still up in the air right now. Oh well! If not, I'll live just like every other year! LOL
