I love my house, make no mistake of that, but sometimes, it can be a trial.

Just found out tonight that my water heater is on the downslope and will need replacing. I was looking into different water heaters I can buy and found a "tankless" water heater that may be a good match for the house. Has anyone ever had one of these types of water heaters? If so, how are they?

The tankless water heaters are more expensive, but I like the idea of an endless supply of hot water.

While I hate the idea of homeowner trouble, from the selfish side, I'm glad it caused you to post.

I'm freaking licking my monitor 'cause your icon image is so DAMN hot.

If memory serves me (and sometimes she's just cruel to me) I first heard about tankless waterheaters on This Old House. There was some discussion about higher initial cost, but that over the long-haul, money was saved because they are more efficient heaters of water. Because they are an "on-demand" system, you'll never spend money keeping that water hot through the day, or anytime when it's not being utilized. And you'll never run out of hot water again... Think about that on a cold winter's night (or with company).

P.S. While I didn't lick my monitor for your post, I was tempted. I know it's a little shallow, but gee, you're cute!

I know nothing of water heaters, but I ran across an entry you did in someone else's LJ and just had to say hello. Oh so very cute!
