Egad! Not again!

I can't believe that they did it again on Angel and eliminated another character, and one of the bettter ones! First Cordelia and now apparently Fred! Why not get rid of Gunn who has been next to useless of late? I know that the show is slated for cancellation for next season, but it hurts to see them change things so much before they go. Granted, the actress playing Fred, Amy Acker, is still working as the demon Ilyria who replaced Fred, but it's not necessarily the same.

Still, as ticked as I am, the writing was good, I thought, and it had an emotional effect, which is a sign of a good plot. I'm going to miss the show if it gets cancelled.

I have not been that loyal of a fan of Buffy or Angel cuz I was afraid I'll get addicted. I stumbled upon a few VHS at the library and saw the first few episodes of Season 1 and I really liked Cordelia - how did they eliminate her? I did Tivo tonight's episode to see what Angel is all about.

Cordelia was written off this season. Last season she fell into a coma after giving birth to a demon (Charisma Carpenter, the actress who plays Cordelia, was pregnant in real life). She left the show to spend time with her new baby. This season she came out of the coma for the show's 100th episode and helped out the Angel gang. You find out in the last few minutes that she never woke up and her ghost had helped out the gang, as Angel gets a phone call from the hospital that she had died. It was a great episode, but very sad for the fans.
