Weekend recap

Friday night was Dave and Busters with buddy, eating well and playing video games.

cincycub's 26th birthday at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Downtown Cincinnati. It was a good time and Brian was the perfect host of his own party, moving from one end of the table to the other to make sure everyone got to spend time with the birthday boy!
The party continued at Brian's house, but I had to get home because my sister dropped a bomb on me.. my mom is getting MARRIED!!! She and her steady of several months have decided to tie the knot, so I needed to get home and get the skinny on this. I guess at mom's age (she's 64, he's 70), they really can't waste a lot of time on a lengthier courtship. They're both widowed, so I guess they are lonely and want someone in their lives. It's going to be weird to have a mom with a different last name as mine.
Well, time for work.

the good & the bizarre

I can see how that last name issues is a bizarre aspect.
My mother was widowed shortly less than a year before she died. So, I never went through anything like that.
