Why does the weekend vanish so quickly? Time does fly.

Friday, I saw Scream 4. I always loved the franchise. The suspense was always good and the shocks always made me jump. In the current world of popular torture pr0n movies, I miss the good suspenseful slasher flick. The new Scream follows a familiar pattern but has a lot of twists. Neve Campbell is always good, but Courtney Cox is looking very plastic these days. No spoilers, but it was well worth the money to see it, even if the story isn't as fresh as it used to be.

Saturday, I slept. Really. That was about it. The last work week wore me out, just a lot going on. Nice freaky dreams though.

Sunday, I didn't sleep well. I had pizza for dinner and the heartburn was strong. I should know better, but I tend to forget. I did do my chest and back workout that morning, ate lunch, mowed the yard, did laundry, and watched more "Daria." I so love that show.

Happy Monday, if such an oyxmoron is really possible.

I too, dislike the torture horror movies. I won't watch them. I much prefer the suspense films, although I have yet to see any of the Scream films.

I loved Daria..used to watch it on MTV eons ago.

I've seen all the torture movies, but I own very few of them. I just can't watch them over and over. A good suspenseful horror movie is so much better. One of my favorites is a Spanish scary movie called "The Orphanage." Very little gore, but makes the hair stand up on my arms.

And Daria is awesome. I could see me hanging out with her in high school.
