Dreaming of Me Versus the Supervillain

This one was a strange one, but then most of my dreams never are normal. If they are, they usually don't get posted.
This one had superheroes, supervillains, and an odd setting. It's behind the cut, because this could get long...
The setting for this dream was my maternal grandmother's home and the big field behind her house. In the field, there was what appeared to be a floor of a hotel, including the hotel dining room. It was as if someone had torn off the section of the building and then put in the middle of nowhere. The floors were uneven and things were in complete disarray.
There was a monster in the hotel and I was involved in curing him of his affliction to where he was normal again. While he was getting his bearings in the hotel, I left to get his two daughters who hadn't seen him in so long. Both of the girls were young, under ten years old. I took them into the hotel so they could see their dad.
While we were in there, Batman was fighting the villainous hulk called the Blockbuster. Blockbuster, for those unfamiliar with him, is a giant, muscle-bound, super-strong bad guy in the DC Comics Universe. He's often been described as "child-like," but he often is a threat for that reason. I think Batman must have thought he was defeated because he left, leaving the Blockbuster there. As the girls and I were searching the hotel remains for their dad, Blockbuster was waking up. As we walked the halls, I saw the Blockbuster in the dining room area. I shushed the girls and guided them out of the hotel section.
Just as we were almost out, I saw their dad come out of a double door and into the grass in the field. He was a attractive guy -- brown hair, clean-shaven, muscular without being overly so. He looked like a familiar actor whose name I can't remember. The girls screamed in delight at seeing him, but then the Blockbuster came out behind him and attacked. I jumped in between the girls and Blockbuster. Yeah, non-super-powered me versus the Blockbuster.
This Blockbuster was different than the original comic books, he was smart and intentionally mean. He grabbed a silverware dispenser and threw forks and knives at me, almost playfully. With his super-strength, they became more dangerous even when casually thrown by him. He was taunting me along with threatening me because he knew I couldn't defeat him.
I tried to take him down, I grabbed handfuls of silverware from the ground and held them in my hands, the utensils between my fingers so I could make fists. Between his flinging of cutlery, I ran up and tried to jab him in the thigh with the knives, but they couldn't pierce his skin or even his pants! He grabbed me and hurled me to the ground and I thought he was going to kill me. I started screaming, embarrassingly yelling for my mom and dad. I looked toward my grandmother's house and saw Superman and Wonder Woman in the living room, rushing toward the door.
They must have shown up because suddenly Blockbuster was off of me and I woke up.
