OMG! It's a rare Saturday posting!

Today, I woke up after getting a decent night's sleep after getting little sleep on Thursday night. I spent the first part of the morning working on the comic book and chatting online. After a bit, I showered and put on some clothes to get the day started.

Enjoying a Beautiful (Satur)DayI went to lunch at Qdoba and then went to Ollie's (a closeout shop) to buy a few odds and ends. The smiling lady at the checkout saw my "Enjoy This Beautiful Day" shirt and pointed it out to the other checkout girls, saying they needed to get one of those.

After that I went to Toys R'Us looking for a card game and then to Hobby Lobby. I didn't see anything I wanted, so I grabbed a York Peppermint Pattie and stood in line to check out. The lady at the register asked the current customer if I could cut ahead since I only had one item. She said sure, so I thanked them both and went ahead. It's the shirt, I swear.

I visited Meijer for a birthday card and ended up getting a couple of pairs of compression shorts (I run in them... shut up...). A cute cubby type was my checkout clerk. He asked me if I wanted a gift receipt. I stared at him funny, thinking who buys compression shorts for a present. I laughed and said "no" and he replied jokingly, "well, you never know..."

I ended the morning errands at Half-Price Books and then the grocery. I took a pic outside the bookstore and noticed how the sun really brings out my silver hairs! It's certainly been a busy morning, but I have to admit I am loving the weather.

LOL! You are too cute.

The shirt you can order from Wire & Twine (http://www.wireandtwine.com) from uber-cool LJ'er [livejournal.com profile] chrisglass.

The rest is not really for sale, but can be test-driven to see if compatible :)

I'm gonna have to wait a few weeks, but I think I know what I'll be ordering!

And where do I sign up for this test drive?!!

I had a Bear Pride shirt that featured bear paw prints in rainbow colors. A checkout clerk looked at them and said, "That little guy got in ALL the paint, didn't he?"

Straight folks can be so cute, sometimes....

The sun is bringing out your hair's natural hightlights, dear, not the gray.

...and yes, the weather is gorgeous. I got in 21 miles on my bike today.

I can call them highlights then :)

And straight people can be so funny. I was wearing my "Bear Friendly" shirt out a few weeks ago and a lady at a restaurant wanted one because she calls her boyfriend "Bear!" I soooo wanted to see a photo.

Assuming the company that made the Bear Friendly shirt has a website, I might've directed her to it. I'd have liked to be a fly on the wall to see her face when she logged in.

My friends and I are all customers of the tee-shirt company that designed it and told her the website, so hopefully she ordered it :)

I always expected my head hair to go grey.
I got a bit freaked out when the hair south of my beard started to grey.

*sigh*

At least I'm not dying it like that guy I saw once in the gym.

My dad's hair was salt/pepper (with a nice silver quality actually) for the whole time I remember him. I'm happy my hair is getting silver than so much gray.

Mine is creeping down my chest at this point. It's a bit unnerving to see a silver hair sitting on my shoulder.

And dyeing it? Ugh... I actually stopped dating a guy because he did that. It just told me how vain he was.
