An Evening with Some Bears
Feb. 8th, 2004 01:28 amI went out to dinner tonight with three very handsome bears, including the always fun
decibal. It was a pretty good night, out to the Bravo Italian restaurant in northern Cincinnat, with Bill, Derek, and a new friend Tom.
We got a bit of a late start and ended up having to wait for 90 minutes for a table. The place is new to this location and was hopping with people. We ended up at the bar until the table was ready. Tom impressed me quite a bit. He's a tall, handsome, stocky man, dark hair and blue eyes with a dark, but graying goatee. He can talk about a variety of subjects. He and I had a good discussion regarding the upcoming election and the various Democratic candidates.
After we finally got seated, Tom noticed that we were next to a table where this older woman wore pearls, a champagne-colored outfit, with a fitted fur coat. Tom noticed that her hair was perfect. He stated that she must be wealthy because "No woman could wear that much champagne and not have money." When the table eventually left, he also noted that she was "20 years older than we would have guessed." Such delightful comedic insights. Dinner was very good and very filling.
After dinner, we went back to Bill's place and began a long chat session on all sorts of topics. About midnight, I excused myself from this group to head home. It was a good night with some great company.

oh well. I had a blast too. It was great to see you again!

Date: 2004-02-08 06:56 pm (UTC)I also read Dani's entry and wish we had gone there as well. I've never been to the Factory and it would have been fun to see it. I know Dani lives close to my house, I should invite her and her hubby out to dinner or a movie sometime just to meet.
