It's Getting Closer

kybearfuzzThere is a new business going up across the street. There is a large piece of equipment that raises a huge concrete disk into the air and then drops it on the earth, my guess is to compact the landscaping. It's fun to watch.
I can feel the vibration of the "thump" everytime it hits in my office, which is several hundred feet away from the site. My Diet Coke even ripples a bit.
I can seem to shake the idea that there is a giant or a Amazonian Chick from "Futurama" outside my window.
