Morning Ugh

Here's a morning funny for everyone :)

Why oh why do they have to make morning come so early? I almost literally crawled out of bed this morning, unaided by the fact I had to reach over Murphy the cat to smack the alarm clock. He should be careful. One of these days, in my sleepy fog, I may mistakenly pet the alarm clock and smack his head to hit the snooze.

I often wonder what makes one person a morning person and another a night owl. My parents were like this. Mom the person who loved to sleep in (like me) and Dad the guy who was up with the sun. My only early morning exception was Saturday mornings, but I needed my fix of cartoons.

If my boss approves my leave next week (I hope and pray), it will be a morning sleep fest. Of course, sleeping in for me is 7 or 8 AM now, but it beats 5 AM anyday.

And I still need a morning fix of cartoons.

I find it funny you consider yourself NOT to be a morning person, when the rest of the world would consider you to be very much a morning person. ;)

I like mornings, getting up early (being 6:15a on weekdays, 7a on weekends). Like you, sleeping in means I get up at 8:30a.

I'm also a night person, I love staying up on weeknights until 2am.

But man, that 1p-5p stretch just hurts. I am not an early afternoon person. Heheh.

Same here. 1-5pm after lunch is the worst time. Wish I could just take a nap. My schedule would be get up at 8ish, work for a few hours, have lunch, nap for 3-4 hours, work some more, come hope, stay up until 2am, rinse and repeat.
