Unfortunately, my office got everyone new keyboards when we upgraded the laptops, but I held fast to the my old keyboard for auditory purposes. They're noisy and most manufacturers today are striving to make them quieter. Tuesday, my keyboard kicked the bucket. While the clack of the keys were still going strong, no words would appear on my screen. Luckily, our IT folks have a large cache of these kinds of keyboards for "just in case" emergencies. Most everyone else in the building hates them. So I think I'm set for the rest of my career as long as I can put a few of them away and the connectors are still useable.
