I've been slow at getting to these because of work travel and such, but...
"What is your arguing style?"
It depends largely on how the argument came about. I'd like to say that I'm calm and rational at all times. However, I have my moments. If it's a constructive argument (my favorite kind), then I usually can stay calm if not animated in presenting my side of the discussion.
In a more heated situation, I try my best to stay calm, but I have been told that when a "surprise" argument hits, I can be quite explosive, getting my "Irish" up *wink*. My Kentucky accent becomes stronger, I speak faster, I throw in phrases like "Ah'll believe tha' dang stuff when Hell freezes over yonder...," etc.
When an argument turns personal, I have been known to let the f-bombs fire off. In one situation, I was called "irresponsible" for not reading some half-written procedure by a lab egomaniac and then threatened with a pointed finger with "I'll get you for this!" While I basically told him that he could stick his procedure in an uncomfortable place, I do pride myself that I never turned the attack personal back at him (and believe me, I had PLENTY of ammunition).
