Laying the Cold and Snow
Playing in the Snow

I woke up this morning several inches of the white death. In looking at my driveway and the snow covered street in front of my house, I decided to go back to bed. When I woke up for the second time, I called my office and found out the management actually closed the office, which is a rare thing. So today is a real snow day for me.

In getting ready to shovel the driveway (ah, the joys of homeowning), I got my camera and played for a bit in the snow, having not made a snow angel in years. My multi-layer clothing made a big angel, but I apparently forgot to put my head fully in the snow, so my angel is headless. Poor thing probably runs into trees and everything...

We're supposed to get even more snow later today and tonight. Not sure if we'll get another snow day, so I should enjoy this one while I can.

Great snow angel Mark! I always had trouble getting up and therefore ruined the angel. But it was fun anyway. When are you going to post a picture of your snowman?

Some times I think how nice it would be to have a snow day. Then I realize that it would have to be very cold and that white stuff would have to be all over the ground making outside travel hazardous, and re-think the proposition.

Oooh.. a snowman? I've not done one of those in a long time and it sounds tempting. I wonder what would happen if I actually put a bit of effort into it, not just rounded heads, but a bit of sculpting. A snow bear??? Dare I try it...?

I was watching "Night Gallery" on DVD last night and there was a story about shrunken-heads. Now my snow angel has one! Stay away from me, ghost of Rod Serling... :)

LOL... see, we are lucky to panic at even the THREAT of snow. We had a prediction of snow last week and they salted the roads so much, I'd swear I was driving on gravel. And then.. no snow...

Sunday or so, we got an unexpected dusting that freaked people out. I'm sure the stores were loaded with people after bread and toilet paper!

I was going to suggest a snowbear, but thought that would be too hard, but I know you've got the creativity to get 'er done!

It's a snow day every day here. :p

Glad you got to enjoy your own bit of snow. It seems whenever I go on a snowboard vacation someone else gets a lot of snow somewhere else.
