My Answers

1. I was at the movies with the guys watching Sex Drive last weekend. I laughed out loud a lot during that one.
   
2. Even though I love Family Guy and Futurama, I have to say that South Park is the one that seems to keep on things. I expect a Sarah Palin episode any week now.
   
3. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I've not really watched any of the new shows out this season. I've heard that True Blood and Fringe are becoming current faves amongst LJ'ers though.
   
4. "I Don't Care" by Fall Out Boy is getting a lot of play on my iPod right now. (it was the end credits song for Sex Drive)
   
5. A group of us were joking about needing a vegetarian dish for our upcoming Holiday Party at work and the restaurant where we'll likely have it serves Goetta (pronounced Get-ah. So to make it vegetarian we thought of having "Tofu Goetta" and I laughed, thinking it would make a grand drag name: "Ladies and Gentlemen, your host for the evening.. Miss Tofu Goetta!!!

1. when Bob asked my Mom if she had gas... he meant in the car but it came out totally wrong
2. South Park for sure, tho Ren & Stimpy defintely set the ball rolling.
3. I haven't picked up any new shows really, Fringe is... ok but not totally grabbing me and prolly won't last in my watch queue. Even the old shows seem lacking this year for some reason.

What cartoon series do you think has pushed the envelope the farthest?
For me it has to be South Park. While Family Guy has often come close, South Park has claimed the Gold Medal for being jaw-droppingly rude for quite a few years now.

2. The Simpsons opened the door, but I agree, South Park has pushed the envelope the farthest and of course their is Adult Swim.
3. True Blood is the only new show I've seen and it's very good.

mmmm - some of actually know what the heck that greasy concoction is. ;) as for making it vegetarian? i would be HIGHLY impressed to see that happen!
