Aches and pains...

I haven't been this sore in a very long time.
Last night, my softball team had a double-header and, with only 10 players present, everyone played the entire time. Normally, I'd never complain about that. However, early in the first game while standing on first base, one of our left-handed batters hit a screaming line drive toward me. I lept into the air to avoid it, only to get nailed in my right calf. To add insult to injury literally, because I was in the air and off the base, I was out. I spent the rest of the evening hobbling through the games. We won both games, but my strike-out in the second game and my being the third out at the end of five separate innings that last game no matter where I hit it made for a long night.
I tried to take a picture of my swollen calf last night, but the lighting was all wrong. The shadow around my calf muscle wasn't shadow, but the blue of the bruise developing, but you couldn't tell. I may try again later tonight now that the colors are better set.
To make things worse, I visited a new gym on Monday with
_decibel_ and worked my upper body on the machines. Now that it's two days later, my upper body and lower body are now stiff and sore together. Not so sure I look so good for 35 today.
