The Morning After Softball

I am so sore.

My team "The Stray Cats" had back-to-back softball games last night, despite the threat of rain. We only had 11 guys show up last night, so there was no rotating of players, only positions. We played C&D Northsiders first, led by a very nice daddy bear. I got a nice hit to left center during that game, followed by a few decent base hits in the following game against the Below Zero Lounge guys (and gals). We won both games.

I played the entire night, which is good as I needed the field experience, but it makes for one very aching body the next day.

Well, I had some good hits and some not so good ones. It's hard to have to tell myself to watch the ball. It's like having to tell yourself to hit the gas pedal while driving. :)
