Good to be home!
Dec. 27th, 2003 11:58 pmI've been gone for the week and I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed for a change. It's not that I don't enjoy going to my hometown to see my family, but I can usually only stand it for two or three days. I get bored. My mom and siblings have lives and friends of their own there, while my friends are scattered to the four winds. It makes for often boring times.
Regardless, a week back in my hometown with family is hard on me. I'm thankful for an uneventful drive and that the computer store took back the CD-RW drive my brother didn't need. And I'm extremely happy to be in my own home.
Before I came home, I stopped to buy a few DVD's that I didn't get for Christmas. I held off in case my friends or family got them for me. So, I got "28 Days Later," "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," and "Pirates of the Carribean" on the way home. I plan on being very lazy tomorrow and catch up on some alternate endings and deleted scenes.
