Weekend Wrap-Up

Just the highlights as I'm swamped...

• Had a great weekend with mikiedoggie, his post details it better... and there are pictures of me there too! :D
  
• Saw "Run Fat Boy Run" on Saturday with Brian (cincycub), Kevin (shimbexprovides), and Mikie. It was a good flick, kinda long in the start, but Simon Pegg is always worth watching.
  
• Brazilian steakhouse with Mike on Saturday night. OMG! So much meat! Very tasty! I really blew my points for the day and beyond, but it was completely worth it.
  
• Worked several hours last night on stuff for the office. If Ireland wasn't looming in four days, I'd say heck no to that.
  
• Application for job change nearly done. Hope to submit that in a day or so.
  
• New icon from Mike's pic of me... wheee...:)
  
• I'm being chastised for not wearing red today for the Cincinnati Reds opening. Like I give a $#!+... which is a quote I've already said today.
  
• Back to the work stuff.. sigh...

Just to pre-warn you, it's like $50 per person, but it's all you can eat and it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it! tasty, tasty meat!

Oh yeah, the salad bar is worth it also. it's huge!

There's at least 6 of them in the Chicago area. I go once every 6 weeks it seems. If you are in town we could check it out. The salad bar alone is incredible even if you don't think of the meat!

the last time i was in chicago, i was supposed to go there, but my co-conference attendees got all pissy because they thought it was too cold to go downtown. so we went to a Charbroil restaurant nearby instead.
