Rural Kentucky Tour 2008

As is becoming habit, I've been sent back in the wilds of rural Kentucky for another road trip assignment. I'm christening this the annual "Rural Kentucky Tour." I do get to see a lot of the Commonwealth this way and I usually snap photos of the unusual, but in the southeastern part where I am this week, there are a lot of Ten Commandments signs everywhere, so it can be a bit uncomfortable. I'll post photos when I get back home Friday evening.

On the very bright side, I had an amazing sex dream last night involving a very handsome, very burly bear who shall remain nameless. If I could figure out what I ate/drank/breathed/saw that triggered that dream, I'd take it every evening.

I've always been confused by those signs with the Ten Commandments on them. Do the people who post them need constant reminders of what not to do as a means of keeping them from sinning?

You're right about that. I remember Stephen Colbert embarrassing some politician who wanted to post them in public buildings when he asked the guy to name the commandments and he couldn't do it.
