I really should just try to do more online shopping. I do love to have something in my hands and wonder if it will be a good fit or not for someone, but driving out and trying to shop is becoming treacherous. In the three hours I was gone, I was nearly hit by three different cars, observed multiple instances of no turn-signals (in KY, they are just there to make the cars pretty apparently), and encountered crowds so thick I could barely move through aisles.

A visit to Best Buy was worthless. I'm looking for a photo software for my brother's girlfriend, but its only availabe through Microsoft I've been told. When I asked the sales associate at Best Buy, he jerked his head as though I had slapped him. Such dramatic responses from him, yeah my radar spiked when he started to speak. You have to love the young ghey!

After all that, I drove to Borders near my home and burned the six activity points I earned today on my four mile walk on a fat-free Raspberry Mocha that was totally worth every step. Online shopping, it is the definite way to go.

I made it to two shopping place yesterday and survived. One was TigerDirect and was eerily quiet. the other big mall (Southpoint) was flooded on one side. I remembered a quiet side, worked my way over there and found plenty of parking. Busy in mall, but manageable. Yet I did not find what I was looking for.

It's crazy how people are so determined to get the closest possible space next to the mall entrance. The same cars were weaving back and forth to find parking in the time it took me to park on the edge and walk into the mall. Idiots.

Came back home late and several more things on Amazon, so more stuff on the way (and possible a little something for me). :)

I've always laughed about that too. Folks will drive round and round, when they could just park and walk and get it done.

I've actually seen people do this at the gym. They'll drive round and round for a closer spot, refusing to walk another 100 feet, but will go to the cardio area and walk on the treadmill for an hour. It's hilarious... and sad. :)
