Hello Monday!

The heat shield of my car's engine was loose and has been "rattling" all week, so I took the morning off to get it fixed. I had an orthodontist's appointment this afternoon, so I saw no reason to go to work today at all. Wheeeeeee!

The shield is fixed and the car runs quietly again. I stopped by Panera for a bagel to go for lunch. I was flipping through my channels while eating and came across "Buck Rogers" starring Gil Gerard on Sci-Fi. Oh, he was an early crush of mine -- so furry, so cute. This was the "Amazon Women" episode, so he is put on display in a man auction where he remains shirtless for several minutes. Someone upstairs really likes me today.

Went to the orthodontist for some brace work. Everything tightened and a little sore, but okay. Then I went to the gym and worked out for the first time in over a week. Now.. very tired, a little sore all over, but overall in a good mood.

Like I said, he was one of my childhood crushes. I used to watch the re-runs after school when I was a kid and thought he was adorable.

He's still around. I did an internet search of him earlier today after seeing the episode. He's gotten older... naturally.. and he's not quite the hunk anymore. Once site had him doing the Sci-Fi fan/Comicon-type stuff these days.
