If you comment on this post, I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

I replied to [livejournal.com profile] sacredjade's journal and he chose the following:

  1. Andrea Di Vito is an Italian comic book artist whose work I first saw in the now-defunct Crossgen comic line. He draws wonderful muscled heroes and villains. I have one of his original covers to "The First" matted and framed in my home office. He's also very handsome, reminding me a great deal of LJ's own [livejournal.com profile] susobear.
  2. Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world in my opinion. I've been twice in my life and visited four of their major cities, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Montreal. I've met some sweet (and handsome) guys up there and it seems like being friendly overall is the norm.
  3. Charmed was one of my favorite shows. I love just about anything supernaturally-based. The story of three witchy sisters was fun and I think most of the fans could identify with at least one of them. Being something of a middle-child, I loved Piper best.
  4. Clue Club was something of a knock-off of Scooby Doo on CBS in the mid to late 1970's. I do think that the mysteries were better written, each dealing mainly with a disappearance of someone or something in an impossible way, only to be logically revealed at the end. There were chases by masked guys or monsters and two talking dogs. I remember the theme song best and would love to have the instrumental version (played at the end of the show) as a ringtone on my phone.
  5. Photoshop is the software I usually use to color my cartoons. It has so many more applications that I need to learn to use it better, especially considering what I paid for it.
  6. Remember WENN was a television comedy on American Movie Classics about life in a 1940's radio station, back when they did serial programs and variety shows instead of just music. Written by Rupert Holmes, the show was clever, funny, and witty and I pray it gets released on DVD at some point. Sadly, the idiots at AMC canceled the show despite a great following and ratings and left us fans on the cliffhanger of whether Betty would choose between Victor or Scott. Those Bastards!
  7. Wonder Woman was my favorite TV show and comic book character growing up. Who didn't try that spin to change costume as a kid? If you say no, I don't believe you. Lynda Carter left some big shoes to fill as I know the movie version has stalled repeatedly over trying to find the current Wonder Woman.

LOL.. be careful Joe, you're getting Wonder Woman confused with the Bionic Woman, the comparison of which has been hotly debated on this journal for a long time. Lindsay Wagner played the Bionic Woman and does the sleep number bed commercials. And she looks incredible :)

I wasn't sure if you wanted to play the seven meme thing, but in case you did.. here you go :)

  1. acna
  2. civil air patrol
  3. gran turismo
  4. karting
  5. snowboarding
  6. solaris
  7. vir
