I look forward to Pride Night at King's Island every year. It is the only night I typically go to the park all summer. I love the short lines and the company. This year was a lot of fun as usual.

Among the LJ'ers in attendance: cincycub (and his boyfriend Roy), _decibel_ and kybigstew, demcub, need_2_chat, stripedtiger, jeffinthebox, cub_steiger, shimbexprovides, and lougarou. In addition, my local buddy Jay and a new chat buddy Rick showed up to hit the rides and I saw a lot of guys from my softball team running about as well as friends from Dayton. The only usual attendee missing was mikiedoggie whose plans changed at the last minute and couldn't make it. We missed you lots. I had to ride Delirium solo tonight.

We rode the new ride, Firehawk, twice tonight and actually had to wait for over 45 minutes the first time. Lines are odd on Pride Night, but everyone was willing to stand for a bit for this one. Very cool ride actually, just like flying. I think everyone had a great, though exhausting time.

You know, I REALLY wanted to go to Pride Night this year ... but WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT? It was the very same day as a big public employee recognition luncheon, and I was one of the honorees (being recognized for 20 years of service). Maybe next year! I'm glad you had a great time.

isnt firehawk the ride you guys stole from Geauga Lake up in cleveland? Thats not very nice. That ride was the only redeeming factor of Geauga Lake.
It sounds like it was a great time. Glad you guys had fun. I really wanted to make it down but was not able to. Maybe next year.

King's Island is great I like Cedar Pointe more but I did really like King's Island too. IT's been a couple years since I was there though...Good times!

Glad you guys had a great time! Hopefully I'll be able to do it next year. Undoubtedly, I'll harass you about a visit in October. :P
