Finally Friday

It's been a long week. I'm acting supervisor for my office this week and next and it has been one hectic week. This might explain some of the napping I've done over the last few days. There will likely be a bit of that this weekend too.

This month is all about questions. I'm going to skip the question meme going about, but here's a few fun ones for the masses to answer:

1. If you went on American Idol, what would Simon most likely tell you? Paula?
   
2. Would you rather be able to read minds or see the future?

My Answers

1. If you went on American Idol, what would Simon most likely tell you? Paula?
   Simon would say, "Pure Rubbish! Does your mother know you're here?" Paula would say (after she stopped dancing), "Who are you? Where am I?"
   
2. Would you rather be able to read minds or see the future?
   I think reading minds would be better, I certainly could do my job better and faster, provided I could turn it on and off.
   
3. If you had a twin, what do you think his or her name would be?
   Joe, obviously
   
4. What is the most exotic animal you've ever touched or held?
   I've always wanted to pet a tiger, but I guess the strangest was a ferret...(no comments!)
   
5. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
   I originally wanted to be a veterinarian, but then a dog bit me and the dream fell apart.
   
6. If you could play a sport professionally, which would it be?
   Tennis
   
7. Through some bizarre time travel experiment you appear in ancient Rome and are worshipped as a god... the god of what?
   Jeff, the god of biscuits
   
8. Back hair on a guy, sexy or not?
   On a nice broad shouldered guy, I think back fur is very sexy
   
9. Who had the funniest name in your school or college?
   I went to college with a Mike Hunt (and he was cute as heck)
   
10. Do you have a food allergy?
    Not that I know of, though when I eat at the Macaroni Grill, there is something in the sauces there that makes me double over.

Even though my week cleared up and it turned out this morning that I could have visited Cincinnati, perhaps its for the best I don't come since you'll be napping the weekend away. *grins*

Simon would say, "Dear God man, is there anyway we can sew your lips shut so you can never do that again?" Paula would laugh and go, "You tried! That's soooo sweeeet."

2. Would you rather be able to read minds or see the future?
I'd say read minds. If I could see the future, my illusions of free will would go out the door, and I'd get depressed that nothing would surprise me anymore. Although I *would* use my powers to win Powerball. Hee.

3. If you had a twin, what do you think his or her name would be?
My parents would have given the twin an "M" name like me. Something like "Mark" or "Martin."

4. What is the most exotic animal you've ever touched or held?
I once touched some rare exotic african bird. Obviously it didn't affect me too much because I can't remember anything else.

5. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
The boring stuff. A doctor, lawyer or scientist. I ended up being a pseudo-scientist for a number of years, almost became a doctor and ended up being lawyer because the path of least resistance bekoned me with its lovely billable hour system!

6. If you could play a sport professionally, which would it be?
Baseball. There's something very American and calming about it.

7. Through some bizarre time travel experiment you appear in ancient Rome and are worshipped as a god... the god of what?
I'd be the God of Snark. Oh yes.

8. Back hair on a guy, sexy or not?
Sexy. Especially on a guy with broad shoulders.

9. Who had the funniest name in your school or college?
There was a guy in college with the name Wang Suc. I sooooo felt bad for him.

10. Do you have a food allergy?
No, although occasionally heavy cream sauces make my tummy hurt.
