Groovy Graduation Dream
Jan. 7th, 2007 08:26 amI think it must have been the mix of movie nachos and plain M&M's that did this one. Sometimes my dreams are so weird.
The setting was some college, but the building resembled my old grade school, with the hardwood floors and old doors, except it was much much bigger. It was graduation time and all the students were having the last bash before the ceremony.
I was looking forward to everything.
bleuvalentines and
davemassive showed up for the party along with two of their friends, a burly red-bearded bear named Jeff and another cute dark-haired cubby sort named Andy. I have no idea who Andy and Jeff were, I don't think I know them in real life, but they seemed to be musicians.
We were looking for a room to crash and play music in, so we found a choir room that was empty. We ran into Mrs. Hood, the music teacher (who was my music teacher in junior high) and told her we had an afterschool class still left. She just seemed to shrug and leave. I guess she didn't care.
It was raining outside, the rain pouring down the huge glass windows I remember from my grade school. The choir room was on the top floor and the music department was much bigger than I recall, smaller rooms being available from one larger room. This reminded more of some of my college classes.
I left the room to go to get a Diet Coke from the soda machine in the teacher lounge. As I walked down the hall, everyone in the school seemed to be getting high, students lighting up joints the size of cigars. Everyone was smoking it, from the conservative nerds to the class pot heads. Another high school friend named Gayle was guiding me back to the choir room through the hallway full of smoke.
I woke up wishing that I'd gotten to spend more time with Jeff. I've never smoked the wacky weed before for real, but I woke up hungry. :)
