Last night was a lot of fun. Brian (
cincycub), Derek (
_decibel_) and his honey Chris, and Aaron (
aaron1978) and his hubby Sean all came over to see the house I live in and to celebrate my birthday. Strangely after years of knowing them, I've never had them over. I just not a party host I guess. The pizza was good as was the beer and soda and the yummy ice cream cake. It was good to have them here, I need to host more.

The Evil Stepmother Looks on in Happily N'Ever After
After much sleeping today to recover from various stresses this past week, I decided to head to the movies and catch a showing of Happily N'Ever After.
The story revolves around the evil stepmother of Cinderella, Frieda, who decides that her worthless ugly daughters will not get her ahead in the world. She finds her way to the chamber where the wizard who manages fairy tales and maintains the balance between good and evil and starts tipping things in her favor. Cinderella, voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Prince's servant Rick, voiced by her hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr., join forces to stop Frieda.
The movie is entertaining. Frieda walks with a Jessica Rabbit-esque bad-girl-booty shake and there is a lot of cleavage in this flick for some reason. And not all of it good. The animation is good and there are some funny parts to the movie. And no screaming kids in the theater, which is always a plus.
Did I enjoy it? Yes, very much.
Would I watch it again? I think so.
Buy the DVD? Maybe.
