Car Buying Update

Thanks to everyone for their input. I spent the majority of Friday night looking at things online, requesting a few internet quotes from the local Honda and Toyota dealerships. Yahoo mail unforuntely sent a couple of them to the Bulk mail folder thinking they were Spam, so I didn't get them until late today. I think I'll be calling the Toyota dealer tomorrow about an internet offer for a Corolla they gave. I like the Corolla, I test drove one the other day and it handles well.

I'm re-reading my "Buying a Car for Dummies" book and printing out some info from Edmunds.com (thanks for the link benjiej), it's been very informative.

I wonder if this time tomorrow, there will be a new car in my driveway... Hmmm....

I'm planning on buying a new car in 2007, too, and I'm a little nervous about it. I hope that you have a good experience!

ok...i know i'm late to the dance...but did you look at the new nissan sentra? ok, yes i work kinda sorta for nissan...well, at least i write their web stuff. but while waiting for my car to be serviced at the dealership the other day, i took a really good look at one. i really kinda dig it. of course, the new altima is smoking hot! the 4-cyl. gets like 26/33 on the mpg thing. and, they finally are offering the option of navi on the 2.5. oh, and the best part...intelligent key and push button ignition.

geez...do i sound like a commercial? oh wait...i do kinda sorta write the stuff.

good luck with you hunt. i don't think you can go wrong with the corolla or the civic.
