It was great weather for the game tonight and we had a lot of familiar faces from 411 and LJ in the spectators. I had a great game, I was catcher for three innings, hit three times at bat with one going into the outfield (surprised me too), scored two runs, and slid safely into third (I'm becoming adept at sliding, it seems).

There was also some drama on the field, which sadly I didn't pay that much attention to at first. The third baseman for the other team was saying something like "fair ball" or whatever in the at the start of the third or fourth inning. The ump made some comment to him about being smart or something and when the ball was hit by a batter from my team, it went to third and the baseman threw the ball at the umpire at home! The ump pitched the idiot from the game, which was stalled while he went to discuss it with the field manager to see what to do. He was barred from the game, but the other team was given an out every time the idiot came up in the batting rotation as they couldn't replace an ejected player. I wish I had my camera out to capture the drama for everyone.

We had a great game, winning 14-10. Our next game is next Monday at 8:50 PM. I took pictures throughout the game, but I want to get permission from my teammates before posting their pics. However, here are the spectators whose pics are already on the net :)
