Weekend Update
Jul. 2nd, 2006 10:55 pmJust a quick recap before I go to bed...
- Friday Night -- dinner and the movie Click with the fellas. It was an okay movie, I really liked seeing Kate Beckinsale in a role outside the Underworld series.
- Slept all day Saturday... and I mean all day. I was asleep more hours than I was awake. I think work has drained me significantly this past week.
- Had lunch at Chipotle with a 411 chat buddy today on his way from Michigan to West Virginia. It was good to meet him in person.
- Spent the evening watching some of horror DVD's I've bought through Amazon. I watched Happy Birthday to Me, a 1983 horror flick starring Melissa Sue Anderson from "Little House on the Prairie." She's a far greater actress than people give her credit for, and the movie wasn't so bad either. A nice twist awaits you in the ending.
- I wish the fireworks would end. It's 11 PM or so and they are still booming in the distance. I feel like I'm in World War II London and there is no naked Bob Hoskins at the Windmill Theater for me to look at. And it's freaking Murphy the cat out. He's hiding in the bathroom. It's hard to go to the toilet when he's hunkered down right in front of it and reluctant to move.
- I have to work tomorrow.. ugh...

From:Kate Beckinsale
Date: 2006-07-03 06:02 am (UTC)You need to see Kate in Cold Comfort Farm. It's a period piece set in the English countryside in the 1930's. She is outstanding with Joanna Lumley (Patsy), Rufus Sewell, and Ian McKellen. Look for it on rental. It's a hoot. "There's always been Stark-Adders at Cold Comfort Farm."
