A Horror Movie Dream...

It was an odd one this morning. I didn't sleep well, due to some indigestion. I guess the description of the horror movie makes sense really...
Instead of being in the horror movie or storyline as usual, it was more like I was watching it. Actually, it was more like a promo for the horror movie, a preview. The story was set among a group of (I guess) college students or musical performers who were vying for parts in a musical. There is one creepy guy trying out for parts and is in love with the main star of this show.
In the one scene from the "movie" that I remember, a group of the stage hands and actors go to get fuel for a machine that blows fire. The tank of this thing is open, filled with kerosene, and carried by a Kevin Smith lookalike. As the group of guys get into one of those old open-style lifts (elevator), our creepy guy is above the shaft and strikes a match and drops it into the elevator, allowing it to fall into the tank that Mr. Smith is carrying. Now, dream physics takes over as the match would likely have blown out before hitting tank, but for story purposes it worked and the tank explodes. I see the elevator going down as a large plume of flame and lots of screaming occurs.
The next scene I remember is the creepy guy on stage with the star who seems very frightened. I remember that the name of the movie was something like "Hush" and in true promo fashion it gave a release date that I don't recall...
I imagine that the falling elevator of fire is somehow related to the burning feeling in my tummy last night..
